Housemarque, the studio behind the 2021 third-person bullet-hell action roguelike Returnal, recently unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Saros which is set to launch on March 20, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro.
This gameplay trailer which was revealed during Sony’s recent State of Play, showcases the visually stunning world of the shape-shifting planet Carcosa, where players will be put into the boots of Soltari enforcer Arjun Devraj (voiced by Rahul Kohli) as he battles through the shifting alien world of Carcosa.
In the gameplay trailer Housemarque showcased some of the new mechanics that Saros will include, including a Soltari Shield that will allow players to absorb enemy projectiles and redirect that energy into devastating, and absolutely breath taking counterattacks.
With many fans excited to get more of what made Returnal such a great game, Saros seems set to be one of the best PS5 exclusives of early 2026.
